Write this down

Ever feel like you are going crazy? Yeah, me too.
Can I suggest a way to decompress the craziness?

Write it down.

To coherse yourself to do this, I suggest you hop in your car (or on the subway if you are that lucky metropolotian girl) and go to your nearest fancy notebookery (that is a word I just came up with. It obviously means store that sells stationary, notebooks or journals). If its 2am and you are lying awake in bed, you are only a few clicks away from manuscripted bliss.

Here are my suggestions:

Since I am once again longing for the warmth and the sunshine, my mind has been wondering and where did it land today? Nail polish! Love these colors below, and i'm pretty obsessed with the packaging. I have a slight affanity for the skull icon (in a cutesy girly throw you for a loop sort of way). Interestingly enough you can get them at Hot Topic! If you're too nervous to walk into the dark store filled with goth kids, then I suggest you move your mouse and click over to http://www.hottopic.com/. Wallet friendly, ringing up at $2.99. Score!

Hello,
It's nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy your reading. I can't tell you what this will all be about, but I can tell you it will be it all things that I love and I hope that you love them too!
XO
The weeks are long and the weekends come and go in a blink of an eye. Those of you who live to work, or in my case, work to live know weekend outfit planning is just as important as the outfits you don Monday-Friday. I'm not sure about you, but Casual Chic/ Modern Preppy are trends that I most frequent to. Sure, I have a few "Rocker" pieces scattered throughout my closet but layers and clean lines by the Prep God, Burberry, reign for eternity. Now if only I lived in California, I'd hop a plane and hightail it to Nappa for the night.

Mixers

Have you taken a look at your closet lately? Mine stares me right in the face every morning when I am faced with the same question day after day. What the heck am I going to wear today. Sometimes my closet is a treasure chest, sometimes I think to myself "I have NOTHING to wear, and why did I buy these things. I hate them".
Being that I work in the "fashion world" ie: retail, I long to wear something either A. New or B. Different, which hopefully equates to some type of fashion phenom that just sort of materalizes in front of my eyes. Ah, yes those are the best mornings. Unluckily for me, they do not happen often, so it is imperative for me (and my wallet) to keep my closet stocked with mostly basics with a few pop pieces here and there, then load up on an assload of accessories and boots to keep my fashion fuel from running out.
Here are a few of my favorites ruling my closet right now. The possibilites are nearly endless depending on how many layers you want to wear (is it Summer yet?) and how bold or chill you want.
